What should I do to consult a Specialist Doctor?

You can wait list via Website, Mobile applications (iOS & Android), Phone Call (3335335, 3335336) and SMS.

 

Do I have to convert my laboratory requisition into an IGMH form?

No. You can do laboratory tests for outside requisitions without changing it to an IGMH form.

 

When should I collect my laboratory reports?

We send a message notifying the reports are completed. Also we email the lab reports when the report is finalized, but email has to be registered to our system.

 

I’m visiting a friend but I do not know which ward he is admitted in, What should I do?

You can check the inpatient inquire from Information Counter. We would only tell the ward they are admitted when you give us the details of the patient.

 

What if I lost my National ID Card, Should I be able to get any service?

Yes, you can still get service. However, the services won’t be covered by Aasandha. Therefore, you will have to pay for the services you want.

 

What part of my Hospital will Aasandha cover?

All services except room charges for Locals. For Foreigners the price is double of Locals Price. Foreigners none of the service is covered by Aasandha.

 

Can my family member stay with me overnight in the Ward?

Yes. One bystander is allowed to stay overnight, unless the Doctor advice otherwise.

 

Can I make scan, MRI or such appointments through phone call?

No. You need to visit those departments with the Doctor’s requisition.

 

Do you have a 24/7 open pharmacy within your premises?

Yes. Both STO Pharmacy and Life Support Pharmacy are open for 24/7.

 

What is the procedure to be followed if I want to make an appointment for Smoking Cessation Clinic?

You can visit our Respiratory Clinic or Call 3335140 to make the appointment.

 

What is the procedure to follow if I want to start dialysis for the first time?

Consult a Nephrologist and get the Doctors request for you to start dialysis. When you get the request you can not for an appointment at Internal Medicine Counter.

 

What is the easiest way to get a Doctor’s prescription for vaccination?

Consult a General Doctor.

 

What is the procedure to get a skin test done?

You need to wait list at our Respiratory Medicine Clinic. You should bring the Doctor’s request for this.
